There was a man in Ohio that owned 56 exotic animals. But a couple days ago he set them all free and killed himself. And of those animals 49 were killed by the authorities—6 animals, a grizzly bear, 3 leopards, and 2 monkeys were kept alive and taken to a nearby zoo. The animals that were killed were 18 tigers, 9 male lions, 8 female lions, 6 black bears, 3 mountain lions, 2 grizzly bears, 1 baboon and 2 wolves.

The authorities say that if it had not been so late, they would have been able to save more of the animals and not kill so many. But because it was almost dark out, they had to kill more than they could  save. They could not take the risk of letting all those exotic animals roam free during the night.

Sadly some of these animals are very few in number, and this with killing more is not a very good, thing. In my opinion they did the right thing by killing the animals so that no other humans would get hurt, but its sad to see the affects that are caused my one person. Thankfully they got a couple of the animals to a zoo but the rest are sadly dead.
