Water Galore on the Moon?

October 24th, 2010 by harrispg · No Comments · Biology

Recent pictures show that there are ten to thirteen gallons of water sitting in a crater located on the Earth’s moon. This area on the moon is wetter than some places located on Earth for example the Sahara which the sands contain up to five percent water. When the rocket took the pictures it kicked up twenty-six gallons of water, it is estimated that there up to forty gallons of water. All of this evidence proves that there is ice located in the crater of the Earths moon. Other minerals found on the Earth have also been found on the moon like sodium and silver.

This is truly amazing, that there could be sources of water found on another planet or moon. If we could find water on the moon, one of the rarest compounds in the universe, imagine what else we could possibly find.  We could also find something special with this water considering it has been the moon for over four thousand years now totally untouched and umtampered. We should push this project to find out how we can possibly obtain this water or a way to truly study is from afar. Click Here For Link
