Livestock Revolution

March 18th, 2010 by schobebj · No Comments · Biology

There is a growing world wide demand for meat.  More than 1.7 billion animals are used in livestock production and occupy more than one- fourth of earth’s land. The large world-wide demand for meat is hurting other countries economy. Small farmers in some countries are having a tough time reaching the demands of the world wide health code. This is hurting their economy and the world’s economy.

There needs to be a better way to control the demand and a better way to help other smaller farmers keep up with the commercial  market. They need to control demand for meat and the quality of the meat and other products that come from these animals more efficiently. If we do this the health of the animals should become better witch means better tasting and healthier meats and other products.
