Dr. Shanas has discovered a new spider called Cerbalus aravensis. Dr. Shanas and his team have done some research and discovered the spider in Arav and they named it Cerbalus aravensis. They say the spiders leg can reach up to 14 cm and that makes it the largest in the Middle East. The spiders only come out in the hottest days. They construct an underground den which is closed with a “lifting door” made of sand particles. They still have to investigate the new discovery. This new spider called Cerbalus aravensis. The home of this spider is also diminishing and soon will be gone!The places where this animal has it’s home is on the sand dunes of the desert. Isreal land administration is talking about another mining operation. If they do open another mining operation these great and magestic animals may be gone for ever. Along with animals other species that we do not know exsist might possibly leave with them, because of human interactions with their home and environment.
A new species of spiders was found in the Middle East. This enormous spider, which from left leg to right leg, is named the Cerbalus Aravensis. Although spiders are known to be creepy and crawly-hated animals these critters are in danger. Their homes are dissapearing while construction is going on in the sand dunes of Isreal.
This discovery is really magnificient, but we need to be careful becuase we still have not fully investigated this creature. Also there may be more unkown animals that we know nothing about.
