Scientists Take off on Historic Mission to Measure Greenhouse Gases

Scientists plan to take the High-performance Instrumented Airborne Platform for Environmantal Research, HIAPER for short. This HIAPER is planned to travel around the world from the Antarctic and Arctic. These scientist, traveling on this well equipped plane, are going to cover over 24,000 miles all the while taking samples of the atmosphere in the most inaccessible places of the world. This trip could tell us how bad the atmosphere really is and what is affecting the atmosphere the most. This trip could find out what wastes we need to cut back on and what we need to do to save our depleting atmosphere. This may, also, lead more people into the thinking of global warming.
