It seems that technology advances every day and with each step something is brought to a greater usefulness. Diamonds have always been know as an unparalleled form of jewelry and a staple in specialized cutting tools, however scientists have discovered the way to use the diamonds crystal structure.
Up until now the only way to check these moleculare structures was to get the temperature close to absolute zero, however the structure of the diamond allowes phycisists to manipulate atoms at room temperature with nothing to fear. The diamond is thought to be the breakthrough for the quantum computer that will make it able to be placed on a desk like any other computer.
