C-Hawk Volleyball CampFollowing the great success of the C-Hawk Basketball Camp, register now for this year's girls' volleyball camp. We were not able to accomodate all who were interested in the basketball camp, so don't delay. The C-Hawk volleyball camp is for girls entering grades 5-9 in the fall of 2009. The dates for the camp are July 27-30. Cost for the camp is $100 per camper and includes all meals and lodging in the dormitory. Register now to reserve your spot. There is a $25 discount for girls also attended the CLHS basketball camp. Registration must be received ASAP. We hope to see you there! On Saturday, June 6, the twenty-eighth graduating class of California Lutheran High School received their diplomas. We wish them God's richest blessings in all their future endeavors! A video recording of the graduation can be viewed here. There are a few minutes of silence due to some audio diffuculties, but the valedictory address and presentation of diplomas recorded very well.  We are happy to announce that it is now possible to donate to the ministry of California Lutheran High School via an online form. We are using a service provided by Vanco Services which works with Thrivent's Simply Giving program. We can take your donations through credit card, debit card, checking account, or savings account. You can make a one-time donation, or have a specific amount deducted each week or month. Click here, or use the 'Donate Online' button on the right side of the home page.
We receive 100% of donations through checking and savings accounts. Credit and debit card donations are received minus a 2.75% credit card fee. Many other churches and schools have made use of this service. This secure form insures that the information you submit is safe. The information requested is necessary to record your donation for tax purposes, and so that we can thank you for your generosity! Thank you for your continued support of our ministry! |

The CLHS biology, chemistry, and physics classes are making blog posts about current events in the world of science. Students post about articles that they hear about or find on the Internet. These short reports give a quick summary of why this article is relevant and give the students opportunities to discuss why they feel a new development in the world of science is interesting.
